tip: draw with black color on white paper

Choose a fineliner of at least 0.5 to 1 millimeter thick

To make a drawing for your Relooped by You design you can use pencils and different thin and thick black markers or colored pencils.

To get the best result, it is best to first sketch your drawing with a pencil. Then trace this sketch with a black fineliner or marker. Choose a fineliner of at least 0.5 mm thickness if you are using a blanket template and at least 1 mm thickness if you are using a scarf template.

Nice drawing tip

You can also create fun graphic textures by painting with black ink or paint, or coloring surfaces with a pencil.

Add text to your design

If you would like to add handwritten text to your artwork, follow these guidelines to ensure your text is legible when knitted:

Drawing templates for scarves: Write the capital letters with a height of at least 2 cm and the lower case letters with a height of at least 1 cm.

Drawing templates for blankets: Write the capital letters with a height of at least 1 cm and the lower case letters with a height of at least 0.5 cm.
